Partition walls - Room dividers - Shieldings
Room acoustic measures influence the diffuse sound field.
Exposed noise emitters however, must be stopped by highly efficient noice protection installations - as shown here - in their sound propagation directly at the source of the noise. By means of partition walls (with absorbtion material) the residual sound portion is deflected upwards and absorbed by the (room acoustic) Baffle ceiling. ![]()

Shields
in cam plate design
Under advantageous room acoustic-, and installation engineering conditions shields can be an alternative to over-tunneling / enclosure.
